Nz Business Opportunities
Just about everyone over the legal working age on New Zealand’s North Island would prefer to work at home than travel any distance to their place of employment. The overall effect this will have on the economic health of the region will be assessed in the future. Until then the jury is still out considering its verdict on whether or not more people should get involved in home based business opportunities. Whatever happened to the traditional jobs like car park attendant and rodeo clown?
Epalahame Tupou knows all about business opportunities on the North Island. “Have you ever heard of stuffing envelopes?” he asked shyly, “That’s what I actually do as a job. I don’t like to tell a lot of people because it’s embarrassing and I don’t want too many people to jump on my band wagon. There’s only so much money out there and I don’t want the pool diluted by a whole bunch of free loaders like myself. I like working from home and I don’t ever want to go back to laying bitumen.”
Whether you are an employer or an employee you still have to eat to survive. Am I right? You can’t eat a credit card or a money order, can you? A good job won’t save you if you’re about to be run over by a train, will it? Having the ultimate career won’t do you any good if you’re laying dead in a ditch somewhere, right? Working from home may be the answer for a lot of New Zealanders but that doesn’t mean it will be the answer for you. Make sure you research thoroughly before accepting that dream job. OK?
