One of the best and worst things about working from home is the fact you may never meet your employer face to face. With my data entry business I am the boss so I can locate my establishment wherever I want. You could live in Tasmania and work for a company based in Western Australia and do an equally good job as someone working right on the premises. The hardest part is actually finding the work of course. My search for a secure data entry job online ended up being fruitless. That doesn’t mean there are no opportunities for job seekers on the internet. It could mean that I am not particularly adept at using search engines. Who knows?
Sydney and New South Wales
I know for a fact that it is possible to work from home as a data entry operator in New South Wales (NSW). My business is based on the beautiful Mid North Coast and although not thriving, it is managing to pay the rent (almost). I moved up the coast from Sydney almost ten years ago and I have had my share of employment difficulties in the subsequent years. Living in a small country town has its drawbacks but getting a job is no longer one of them for me. I would never want to live in Sydney again and I have no desire to leave New South Wales. Wherever I enter my data, that’s my home!
Melbourne And Victoria
I have never been to Melbourne or anywhere else in Victoria for that matter. I’d like to go there for a holiday one day but that probably won’t be in the foreseeable future unfortunately. I imagine job seekers there would be faced with the same dilemmas as those faced by there northern neighbours. It would be just as hard to find a legitimate online job in Melbourne as it would anywhere else in the known universe but if you were lucky enough to secure employment on the internet you’d be made in the shade, so to speak. If I ever decided to pack my bags and move to Victoria I would have no troubles uprooting my data entry position because when you work from home it doesn’t matter where home is.
Brisbane And Queensland
I’ve spent a bit of time living in Queensland but I can’t remember ever going to Brisbane. I tried to get work as a fruit picker in the far north but found I didn’t have what it takes to make it in that industry. I left with a new found respect for itinerate workers but a strong conviction to find a job where I could exert far less energy and get paid a lot more. It took me a long time to discover the existence of data entry work but now I have found it and I can work from the comfort of my own home, I’m never going to look back. People in Brisbane and all over Queensland have the same opportunity as me if they put in the effort and believe in themselves.
Perth And Western Australia
My girlfriend was living in Western Australia prior to moving to this area and hooking up with me about four years ago. She didn’t live in Perth though. She had a background in hospitality and process work but now helps me in my home based data entry business. She mainly assists with research and graphic design for our websites. I don’t know what I’d do without her, literally. Australians have equal access to all of the benefits the internet provides but are also exposed to all of the negative elements as well. Avoiding scams is just important to someone working in Perth, Western Australia is just as important as it is for someone in the States.
Hobart And Tasmania
I’ve never heard Hobart or Tasmania ever referred to as epicentres for home based business opportunities but there’s no reason why the citizens of Australia’s island state couldn’t take advantage of the internet to find secure, legitimate employment like anyone living anywhere else. People on the apple isle know all about working from home because more individuals perform data entry from home in Hobart per capita than any other population in any other city on God’s Earth. That’s probably not true but I’m sure the inhabitants of Tasmania appreciate my efforts to promote their prowess in the field of home-based data entry.
Adelaide And South Australia
Adelaide is the capital of South Australia and home to some of the most gorgeous data entry clerks in the country. I couldn’t think of a better place to start your own internet intensive business. If I wasn’t well and truly established here I would hop on a plane and head south to set up my data entry venture but the fact remains, I’m happy here and not about to go anywhere. I remember visiting one of Mum’s cousins in Adelaide when I was about 10 years old. The thought of working from home hadn’t really crossed my mind at that stage of my upbringing but I could tell, even at that young age, that South Australia was a state with a bright future for anyone thinking about becoming self-employed.
Darwin And The Northern Territory
When I was in my early 20s I went on a cruise with a couple of mates. It left from Sydney and ended up in Singapore via Darwin in the Northern Territory. I remember being amazed by all of people who could not only type quickly but accurately as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone told me there were more typists up there than anywhere else in the world but, then again, I’m a hard man to surprise. I’ve never met anyone who works from home as a data entry operator who lives in Darwin. Most people in the Northern Territory seem to be crocodile hunters and typing clerks working in offices in the city.
Australian Capital Territory
With the amount of public servants living and working in Canberra no one should doubt the fact that there is enough data being entered by government employees to fill a large silo with a massive capacity for holding data. There isn’t actually enough office space in the Australian Capital Territory to house all of the workers and that is why so many of them do their data entry from home. Like me, most people would prefer to sleep in late and be able to eat while they type and that’s no different for the citizens of the Australian Capital Territory.
New Zealand
Auckland and Wellington on the North Island of New Zealand and Christchurch on the South Island are virtually packed to the rafters with people looking to work from home as data entry operators and who could blame them? Not me…..but I’m not one to play the blame game anyway. The North Island is famous for its vibrant workforce and its love of clerical work. Data entry jobs are rife in both Auckland and Wellington, making the future look very bright for those regions. The South Island is also looking at a period of extended growth in the field of typing related employment. Christchurch is home to some of New Zealand’s most beautiful data entry operators and that couldn’t have happened by accident…..or could it?
