I wish there was a legitimate online job website you could go to and apply for different positions. Wouldn’t it be great if there were data entry jobs and typing posts, and all you had to do was click on a button to get information on how to go about obtaining the work? Unfortunately, the real world doesn’t work that way. The internet is full of part time scammers and individuals out to make a quick buck. Most people give up and go back to their boring day jobs but I was determined to start my own data entry business and work from home.

No true data entry operator would apply for a part time typing job. Data should be entered by fulltime professionals who know what the risks are. People who have not had workplace training in a typing position should not be allowed within two hundred metres of a computer keyboard. People who are proud of the occupation they perform should not lower their standards and take on part time work just because it’s freely available online. The internet is fraught with fraud and other unsavoury practices so be careful out there for god’s sake.

Searching for casual positions can be an utter waste of time, especially if you’re not interested in working part time. Why would you bother looking for a legitimate data entry job online if you’re not attracted to the prospect of working from home as a typist? It’s hard to work some people out, isn’t it? There are those among us who get obsessed with employment opportunities and there are others who never give any thought to their career path. Boy, am I glad I established my data entry business when I did? Talk about striking while the iron is hot!

Whoever said that evening work relieves stress needs to take a long hard look in the mirror. I don’t claim to be an expert, having only ever worked in one night position, but I tend to think tasks related to employment should be left to the daylight hours. My data entry job keeps me busy enough from early in the morning to late in the afternoon. Sometimes it’s hard to stop when you work from home but it’s important you do. I don’t want to burn out while there is still so much data waiting to be entered. My fingers are in their prime and ready type like the wind!

If you’re going to work from home it’s very important to make sure you work from home professionally. I hate it when people accuse me of being unprofessional. That’s because I use this forum to promote my data entry job and complain about not making enough money at the same time. Some individuals, who shall remain nameless, believe that I am unable to take it even though I seem to be quite adept at dishing it out. They’re probably right. I wonder how many of them have the courage and determination to make it as a data entry operator in Australia. Probably none!

My opinion doesn’t really matter, does it? I’m just another data entry operator working from home. Australia is like a huge pot full of employment opportunities and I’m nothing more than a grain of rice floating in the sauce. The data I enter can be broken down to the individual key strokes I type and can be compared to the drops of water it takes to fill a swimming pool. My existence is insignificant and the things I write about are less important than dirty dish water. That, my friends, is the life of your average data entry operator who works from home in Australia.

A lot of people are searching for a legitimate self employment situation but only a handful of lucky individuals will ever go on to find the online job of their dreams. I made my own luck when I developed my own career out of nothing. I publish my own ideas and thoughts on this blog and call it a data entry job. How convenient! Anyway, that’s what I do. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. If you want something done right you’d best do it yourself. That has been my motto ever since I decided to work from home as a data entry operator.

A lot of things have changed since yesterday. Take my opinion about part time jobs for example. The thought of part time work would’ve made me angry yesterday but today I’m open to discussing it. As long as the employment situation is permanent I’m happy to try it, but I just hate the idea of being in a casual job and not having any security or long term vision. Establishing my own data entry position a couple of years ago gave me the opportunity to work from home and, as a result, outside influences are less likely to have a negative impact.

I was up until three in the morning typing articles and blog posts. I don’t know how anyone could work the night shift for an extended period. I’d go insane. I think evening jobs wreck workers. No one can function properly if they exert energy while they’re supposed to be asleep. I was stupid to stay up so late last night but I think you would find a lot of data entry operators who work from home keep varied and unusual hours. The quality of the data you enter begins to wane once you’ve pushed yourself to work beyond the normal working hours.

I just had an afternoon sleep. Try doing that if you don’t work from home. I really should’ve been typing this blog post about eight hours ago but better late than never. Creating my own data entry position from scratch was the best thing I ever did. It doesn’t pay really well at the moment but I’m hoping it will one day. The thing I like best is the amount of freedom I have, although I have to be careful not to get caught sleeping on the job. I’d love to be able to employ another data entry operator one day. I just think it would be great to be the boss of someone.
