My full time job can be a part time problem sometimes. Most of the time it is great but every now and then it gives me the willies. I’m happiest when I’m entering data with a view to completing an article or blog post, because I know that I will be rewarded for my efforts. I don’t like being paid on a fluctuating scale. I put in the same amount of effort into my data entry job every month but every month I get paid a different amount of money. I consistently type the same amount of words every day but my pay packet’s weight goes up and down like a juggler’s ring.
It’s difficult to feel secure in your employment situation when there doesn’t seem to be any consistency with your remuneration. I’m confident that things will get more stable as long as I remain stoic and resist the temptation to be lazy and stupid. That won’t be easy! Data entry operators are funny animals. We like our work days to go off without a hitch. When things don’t go according to plan most home based typists will panic and make things worse for themselves in the long run.
