Money Matters
By Leonard Skinthorpe Jr | August 30, 2008
Wouldn’t it be nice if the world was perfect and everyone could sit in the sunshine down at the river all day? Well, it’s not a perfect world and, unfortunately, money matters to most people more than anything else. Take me for example, I work from home as a self-styled data entry clerk and I like to check my earnings every few hours. I’m obsessed. It’s a bit like watching grass grow at the moment but I’m looking forward to the day when I get a giant surprise. The only way that’s going to happen is if I continue to work hard at my job and be the best employer I possibly can.
When I first became comfortable with calling what I do data entry, I worked part time. Once the potential of my venture started to become apparent I put all my energy into creating my own full time career opportunity. It wasn’t easy and it hasn’t got any easier but life wasn’t meant to be easy, was it? Working from home has given me the freedom to eat more chocolate while I work. What other job would allow me to surf the internet, type a couple of articles and eat chocolate all day? I hope to be a data entry clerk for the rest of my working life!
