Work From Home
By Leonard Skinthorpe Jr | July 24, 2008
I’d much rather work from home than go back to the horrible jobs I used to do before. I’ve got nothing against forklift drivers but I know in my heart of hearts that that profession is not the one for me. I completed a TAFE computer course back in 2002 and followed that with the web design course. I then got a job in SEO support where I learned to touch type and decided then and there to go out on my own and play to win. I’m happy to do data entry from home as opposed to commuting to an office for a typing job.
It may not seem like a very masculine line of work but being a data entry clerk has got its benefits. Working from home is one obvious advantage. Not getting dirty is another. Typing causes your finger tips to become quite robust and if you combine your skills as a typist with the discipline of a martial art then the world is your oyster, literally! Please let me know if you think I’m not making any sense. Data entry operators have been known to type long winded, nonsensical rubbish from time to time.
