If you have ever tried to search for jobs online you know how frustrating it can be. You get excited when you read the description in the search results but when you navigate to the page in question you find nothing but rubbish. I hate those sites which lure you with promises of earning thousands of dollars a month to work from home in a data entry job, only to disappoint you by making you pay for information. Most people would be wary and refuse to be tricked into spending their hard earned money, but some individuals pay for information which ends up being useless.
I decided to stop looking for work on the internet a long time ago. Data entry jobs are probably the most widely advertised positions online but trying to find a legitimate one is like looking for a pin a large stack of hay. I’m a home-based typist but I had to create my own job from scratch. It’s not as if I saw an advertised position, read the job description and thought, “Wow that sounds like the perfect occupation for me!” I enjoy typing and entering data so I started taking small steps towards achieving my goals. Now I am painting myself in the centre of my own bigger picture.
If you’re interested in being a home-based transcriptionist you can try applying at these two sites: http://www.waywithwords.eu and http://www.waywithwords.us but a high standard is required.
Thanks for the tip Patrick. I will check out those sites and apply if I feel confident my skills would pass the test.
