I love reading through the ‘positions vacant’ section of the classifieds in my local newspaper, don’t you? I particularly like reading the job descriptions of the data entry posts. I always avoid applying for any jobs where the ad stipulates that applicants need to be enthusiastic or bubbly. I’m neither of those things. My fear of the unknown has always shielded me from trying new things and stepping beyond the limits of my comfort zone. I enter data for a living because I’m comfortable doing that. Why the hell should I pretend to be enthusiastic about it?

One thing is beginning to really worry me…..and that is….I seem to be developing a fear of the familiar. It’s only in its early stages at the moment but I hate to imagine what its going to do to me in the end. What do you do when it becomes unbearably uncomfortable within your own comfort zone? Anyway, that’s a question for someone much more intelligent than me to answer. After all, I’m just a bubbly, enthusiastic data entry clerk who chooses to work from home to avoid facing the world outside my window!
