My friends think I am a typing machine. They accuse me of spending more time working from home as a data entry operator than I do socialising with them. They’re right to a certain extent but I have been trying to limit the amount of time I allocate to entering data as part of my home business. I can’t help it if my profession rocks! They are probably just jealous because they hate their jobs and can’t stand to see me so happy in my chosen occupation. With friends like these who needs enemas? I’ve only been working evenings for the last couple of months anyway.

Sometimes I find it hard to stop when I get on a roll. When the creative juices are flowing I can enter data for hours on end for several days in a row. I guess it’s a hazard of working from home. As well as working hard you must have the discipline to know when to stop, otherwise you run the risk of burning yourself out. At the moment I’ve been taking it easy during the day and then typing for a few hours in the evening. I find it easier to type when there are fewer distractions around, so working at night is a really good option for me. My friends are alright, they’re just a bit stupid sometimes!
