Most people are unhappy with their current employment situation. Do you think your job is boring? Mine is. Everyone dreams of becoming a data entry operator and working from home, thinking the work is easy and glamorous…..but they’re wrong. The average individual believes that typing for a living would be the ideal way to earn money but they don’t understand how much hard work is involved in order to become an overnight success. I blame the media for glorifying home based clerical jobs, portraying them in an unrealistically flattering manner.
If you didn’t think your job was tedious you’d spend more time doing it and less time with your family and friends. If you were more excited about completing the duties you need to perform in your day job than you were about making love, the human race would be in all sorts of bother. It’s important to find a balance between despising the work you do and loving it. I love being a data entry clerk and I love working from home, but I know when it’s time to take off my data entry hat and put on my civilian hat. My favourite time of the day is when I stop working!
