It’s 10:00 am and I just dragged my sorry behind out of bed. I love sleeping in on Saturdays! This is why I decided to work at home in the first place. Having the flexibility to determine my work hours allows me to organise my day around any activities or events I wish to be involved in. During the research phase of my current career journey I was very keen to find as much information about part time data entry jobs as possible. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it was going to be. No one is giving this sort of information away for free.
Being my own boss gives me the opportunity to work fulltime or part time depending on the situation I find myself in. Take yesterday for example. I wanted to go shopping in the morning, meet up with friends in the early afternoon and watch the football on TV later on. I had to make my work schedule adapt to my social calendar and I did it with aplomb. I shopped, socialised, entered data and watched two entertaining rugby league games. At the end of the day…..as long as the work gets done, that’s the main thing!
