I wish you could walk a mile in my shoes. I wish there were enough typing jobs for everyone who wanted one. I wish I could make more money working from home as a data entry operator than the average lawyer makes in a day in court. Well, there goes my three wishes and not one addresses the whole world peace issue. People seem to be more selfish these days, don’t they? Most data entry operators care only about themselves and worry only about finding the data they need to enter to survive.

I don’t like the work I do, but as long as I get paid on time I don’t care. What is job satisfaction anyway? At the end of the day it’s all about the money, isn’t it? Data entry operators have to eat just like everybody else, so data entry operators have to work just as hard as everybody else. A lot of people think typists have it easy due to the fact there’s no heavy lifting or physical exertion involved in their duties. The fact of the matter is that typing requires great mental strength and patience mixed with a degree of perseverance.

Does anyone read my blog posts? Are these articles making a difference to anyone’s lives or am I just another glorified data entry operator working from home for little reward? You don’t have to respond to those questions, I already know the answers. I don’t really mind if no one ever reads what I write. The main reason I publish this rubbish is to practice my typing and get my head around my current employment environment. If my thoughts don’t make sense to you it doesn’t mean I’m not a good data entry operator, it just means I’m not on your wave length.

There is only one reason why anyone gets a job and that is to earn money. Different people have different ideas as to what is the perfect position for them, but no one working today is doing it for fun or spiritual enlightenment. I work from home as a data entry operator and, to be honest, I hate every second of it. Don’t get me wrong, I know I could have it a lot worse than I do. As I’ve mentioned before, I make up all of the data that I enter so at least I’m exercising my brain and imagination while I’m hard at work.

I’m looking forward to the day when I can log on to my bank account and watch the balance rise like the level of the Bellinger River after 2 straight days of solid rain. When that day comes I will have to be careful not to get caught up in the moment. Every data entry operator knows how important it is to take one day at a time. If you stop typing for an hour while your watching the product of your income generating efforts manifest themselves, your job will suffer and eventually effect the bottom line adversely, to say the very least.

Looking for legitimate job prospects was utmost on my mind for a six month period about two years ago. If you’ve read any other articles on this blog you’d know that this is a rehash of everything I’ve written previously. I just thought I needed to reiterate and reinforce my position and highlight the importance of the path I’ve chosen. As you know, I am an Australian data entry operator working from home in my own typing business. I type whatever I want and get paid for the pleasure. The data I enter is a product of my imagination and approximately as valuable as gold.

Every article I publish on this website is filled with data I have entered myself. Each post is a different data entry story full of information about working from home and being your own boss. If you read between the lines you will notice that I don’t offer any specific details on how to start your home-based business but I do tend to relay my own experiences with a certain je ne sais quoi. I don’t pretend to be au fait with all aspects of the data entry industry but I like sharing my own opinion laced with a bit of avant garde flair.

I’ve been trying to set my business up perfectly to set a strong foundation for the future. The only problem is that I want to make money now. I’m sick of waiting. It’s time for me to take the bull by the horns and enter the data that needs to be entered in order for me to be successful in my chosen occupation. It’s all well and good to set achievable goals and take baby steps towards your destination but sooner or later you have to get paid otherwise you don’t eat. I love typing as much as the next man but when will the articles I type start reaping rewards?

Most people are unhappy with their current employment situation. Do you think your job is boring? Mine is. Everyone dreams of becoming a data entry operator and working from home, thinking the work is easy and glamorous…..but they’re wrong. The average individual believes that typing for a living would be the ideal way to earn money but they don’t understand how much hard work is involved in order to become an overnight success. I blame the media for glorifying home based clerical jobs, portraying them in an unrealistically flattering manner.

I’ve always struggled to stick to a plan but I know things have to change in that department if I’m to be successful in my chosen field. The first thing I need to do is work out exactly where I want to be in one year and then figure out the steps I need to take in order to make that a reality. At the moment my only goal is to write an article or blog post every day and publish it on this website. I’ve managed to do that for over 50 days in a row so I’m happy with my efforts so far. I can safely say that I’m working as a data entry clerk from the comfort of my own home, but is that enough?
