Tonia Hartley is a long time resident of Adelaide who has successfully started making money from an online business. Born with red hair, Tonia was always overlooked by employers looking to fill important positions but now the shoe is well and truly on the other foot. “Some people can really get on your goat,” started Tonia, “The straw that broke the camels back came when I least expected it. I was sitting at home in front of my PC, filling in an online survey, when suddenly it dawned on me all at once. I should choose an occupation that doesn’t make me feel like a torn up rag at the end of every day. I should choose a profession that makes me feel like I am making a difference. That’s when I decided to stuff envelopes for a living!”

Tonia admits that stuffing envelopes wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea but rightly points out that most tea drinkers aren’t really interested in completing a full day’s work. She chooses to work from home but is quick to stress that working at home should be a pleasant experience without being too much of a distraction. There is a fine line between hard worker and bludger. A lot of people would label Tonia a lazy red headed free loader, but she doesn’t care as long as she gets her power bill paid on time.
